Seasons need to get their life together. Once it feels like spring outside you start to do springy stuff, but then hey, it’s still winter and you have to go back to wintery stuff for a few days. Hopefully soon it will be the part of the year where you can make plans more than 1 day in advance and don’t have to worry about being snowed out.

Warner Bros. and Twentieth Century Fox have resolved their dispute regarding the rights to the upcoming motion picture Watchmen in a confidential settlement. Warner Bros acknowledges that Fox acted in good faith in bringing its claims, which were asserted prior to the start of principal photography. Fox acknowledges that Warner Bros. acted in good faith in defending against those claims Warner Bros. and Fox, like all Watchmen fans, look forward with great anticipation to this film’s March 6 release in theatres.

Ultimate West Coast Road Trip

I have had the urge to go on some type of road-trip for the last few years. Sometimes I want to take it in a car, and sometimes on a motorcycle (I think it depends on the weather of that particular day). Either way I went to google maps recently and made a route based on places I wanted to go.

Sante Fe/Albuquerque: Went to Albuquerque last year, wasn’t super impressed, but would like to see if Sante Fe is a little more interesting.

Phoenix: We went here in 2007 for my birthday and we both liked the area, we rented a Goldwing and saw a lot of the surrounding area. It is on the list of places we are thinking about moving to sometime because of the absence of snow.

San Diego: Have always wanted to visit, warm and seems a little nicer than LA.

LA: Haven’t been for years and there are a couple places I would like to visit again, mainly Universal Studios(which brings up idea of a trip to Florida)

Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay: Went a few years ago, loved Monterey Bay, thought it was a cool little town, smells like the Ocean. The University Campus at Santa Cruz was awesome, nestled right in the trees.

San Francisco: Been here a few times, still so much I have yet to see.

Portland: This seems like the type of place I would love, not sure why, that’s why I want to visit. The trip up the coast seems like it would be beautiful.

Seattle: Never been, seems neat and is on the way. That’s a good enough reason for me.

Vancouver: I’ve always wanted to visit. I thought about moving there after college but decided against it based on there already being plenty of other people from there looking for the same jobs, and needing a work VISA. Can’t wait to visit and see if it meets my expectations.

Salt Lake City: It’s on the way home, have a better route?

I am sure there are hundreds of places between all these that I won’t really notice until I explore them on the trip. Not really in a rush for this trip, just something to look forward to. There are so many other places to go (Europe, Asia, Australia, Latin America) that we have plenty to do before or after this road-trip. Plus, those don’t require saving up for a touring motorcycle:)

There is finally a clear image of Heath Ledger as the Joker from the upcoming ‘Dark Knight’:

There is also a pic of the new Batman suit.

I think it looks a little goofy in this pic, but I am sure it will look cool in the actual movie.
